In honour of this significant milestone, the FPG is hosting a series of special events, including an exclusive Coach Training Program, held on September 2nd and 3rd at the Centro Nacional de Formação de Golfe in Jamor.

The two-day Coach Training Program, guided by renowned coaches Kiko Luna and Sergio De Céspedes (Real Federación Española de Golf), focused on refining essential skills such as swing technique and short-game strategy. With their vast international experience, Luna and De Céspedes brought a wealth of knowledge to the sessions, which were designed to combine theoretical instruction with practical application, ensuring a comprehensive and effective learning experience. This innovative approach fostered a rich exchange of ideas between the coaches and the National Team players, further enhancing the development of golf talent in Portugal.

The Annual Ladies Club Tournament at Quinta do Lago, promises an exceptional blend of golf, competition, luxury, and camaraderie.The Annual Ladies Club Tournament at Quinta do Lago, an exclusive event scheduled from 1st to 5th December, promises an exceptional blend of competition, luxury, and camaraderie at one of Europe’s finest golf resorts. This five-day event on the renowned South Course offers players a unique and unparalleled experience, whether aiming to win or simply enjoying the breathtaking surroundings.

The tournament format includes a team of four ladies playing 36 holes in a Stableford competition over two days. Each day, the team splits into two pairs, playing Best Ball Stableford, with the combined scores determining the team’s total. The competition, designed to test your strategic skills, allows tactical planning as the pairs can be different on both days.

The event starts on 1st December with an arrival day and a welcome dinner at Bovino Steakhouse. The following day, participants will have the chance to familiarise themselves with the South Course during a practice round. The real competition begins on 3rd December, with the first day of play starting at 08:32, followed by the second day on 4th December at the same time. The tournament finishes with a gala dinner and prize-giving ceremony at Casa do Lago, a celebration of the spirit of competition and the friendships formed throughout the game.
