Lanzarote golf is generally a more friendly and welcoming course than Tequise but the quality of greens at Tequise was excellent

The hire clubs were disappointing . Not the Ping G20's as ordered . I also think that the company supplying the clubs had forgotten about us and had to hastily gather together some older Pings. We also got a left handed putter and had to share three putters between four of us on the 1st day.

We had a great holiday, the accommodation at Vila Gale was very good and within an easy walk for exploring the beautiful town of Tavira. We played four golf courses during the week and all were in good condition but our favourite was Quinta de Ria which we played on the last day, the course had just reopened after winter maintenance but the green staff kindly fitted us in. All our arrangements were made by Marisa at Teetimes Portugal and she did an excellent job, we look forward to using Teetimes to organise our golf holidays in the future.

I am very impressed by Tee Times. Everything worked perfectly, but probably the best example of the personal service you get was when one of the golf courses got a small thing wrong and charged me for buggies when I had already paid for them through tee times. (I had forgotten). To their credit, the course noticed and told tee tines, who told me and did the refund straight away. It was fixed before we had finished our round. That’s what you call service, from both!

My contact with the company was with Celine Louzeiro who stayed as my contact throughout the booking. It was good to have a single point of contact who understood what I was looking for from the golf trip and worked hard to get the best deal for me. Although we just used the company for tee time reservations Celine made me aware of all their other services and the price of the tees was far better than I could get elsewhere and better times to play. Her recommendations of the courses to play, after speaking about our handicaps, what we were after etc was spot on. No issues at all with any of the 5 courses we played and we will look to use teetimes.pt for our trip next year, but will probably get the whole package from them as again their prices seem to be greater value that I can get elsewhere. Everything went fantastically well. The hotel was excellent, the transfers worked our really well and the golf courses, particularly Lumine Hills, Lumine Lakes and Bonmont Terres Noves were great. The courses were good value and we enjoyed all of them. We had one course that was not satisfactory (Vale de Pinta). It was a nice layout but the course was in poor shape. Celine was responsive and got us booked on another course so that we didn’t have to play it twice. All the other courses were good. Everything at the courses when we checked in was smooth and the courses were all walkable and close to our accommodations. Appreciated the service and would recommend it to our friends.

Customer service both at the reception desk and starters point was excellent, my only criticism was that my wife who accompanied me in the buggy but did not play was told she needed to wear the same attire as if she was playing. We were a group of 2 & decided last minute to book a couple of rounds. Tamar at Teetimes was brilliant at suggesting & organising a round on the Old course & a round on Vale do Lobo. Both courses were in excellent condition. The Old course was by far the tougher of the two with superb greens. Vale do Lobo is visually appealing with some spectacular looking holes. The only negative was the speed of play at Vale do Lobo, and sadly no Marshall's on the course to jolly slow groups along. All in all a great 2 round's of golf organised by Tamar at Teetimes. Would highly recommend.

The favourite golf course section above only lists Gramacho. In fact we played five courses and my order of preference would be Silves, Solgados, Vale da Pinta, Gramacho, Morgado. However I'd happily play any of them again. All the reception staff efficient and friendly and good facilities. Golf Tee Times are exceptional value for playing golf in Portugal, easy to book, very friendly to answer any questions on the phone, and very efficient in making changes.. My only comment on the web site is it is not possible to see how busy courses are before trying to book. I went on another web site for that, but would always go back to Tee Times to actually make the booking.

The only issue was with the accommodations. Second time there for 2 of us and it's absolutely beautiful but its the little things. Not enough soap, toilet paper, dish soap, and dishwasher soap for 4 days. Coffe machine is not worth having in the room since it takes special cartridges, needs a drip coffee maker. I called hotel for all these things on the 2nd day and all they brought us was toilet paper. I didn't understand that one. I would definitely mention to the hotel property that if you have the guest staying for multiple nights you have to accommodate them with the basics just like a hotel property would. The only feedback I have.

The service we have received from all those associated with our booking has been friendly, thorough and professional and above all so very very helpful.
