Tee Times Prestige Tournament Kicks Off at Laranjal: A Showcase of Algarve’s Finest Golf

The 7th Edition Tee Times Prestige Tournament is set to deliver an exceptional golfing experience in the Algarve from November 21st to 23rd. Bringing together 60 avid golfers, this fully booked event promises three days of thrilling competition, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments. The journey begins at the breathtaking Laranjal Course, setting the tone for an incredible tournament.

Nestled in Quinta do Lago’s serene Ludo Valley, Laranjal opened in 2009 and quickly garnered recognition, winning Best Golf Course at the 2011 Portuguese Travel Awards. Formerly an orange grove, the course seamlessly blends natural beauty with a challenging layout, offering a unique experience for players of all levels.

This par-72 championship course spans 6,480 meters of expertly designed terrain. It features rolling fairways, five serene lakes, and a lush mix of umbrella pines, cork oaks, and orange trees. Its layout, comprising five par-5s, eight par-4s, and five par-3s, ensures a diverse and engaging round.

Among Laranjal‘s standout holes is the picturesque 9th, a par-5 where water hazards demand precise shots. Equally impressive is the 7th hole, a formidable par-3 stretching 236 meters, one of the longest in Portugal. The course’s Bermuda fairways and Penn A4 greens provide impeccable playability, ensuring smooth rounds regardless of the season.
