During this last quarter of the year, the Madrid Golf Courses Association has developed a campaign to promote the Madrid community as an international golf tourist destination called “Golf in Madrid”, presenting the region as a new and surprising perfect destination for a golf city break.

With the support of the Madrid Tourism, the last months have been very dynamic for the ACGM, positioning Madrid as a tourist golf destination through a multi-channel campaign in which all the Golf Courses have been involved. For this, the following actions have been developed:

Registration of the ACGM as a member of the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO), an essential action that opens doors to fairs and contacts from all over the world.

Modernization of the association’s website towards a more dynamic, visual and intuitive model.

Production of four videos aimed at showing the tourist and golf offer in Madrid in Spanish, English and French to reach different audiences in the best possible way.

Promotion of these videos through Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, social networks in which the ACGM has started.

With a duration of two and a half months, the campaign has managed to reach nearly one and a half million users around the world and generate more than 10% response. There have been thousands of visits to the new website, as well as more than nine hundred followers on social networks.

Given the success of the operation, the ACGM already proposes a new promotional action plan for the next three years, this time with the aim of welcoming new golfers and golf offer in the Madrid‘s community.
