Madrid Golf Courses Association (MGCA)

The Real Club de la Puerta de Hierro, one of the oldest and most exclusive golf courses in Spain, it´s now a new associate of the Madrid Golf Courses Association (MGCA). This club takes the number of Madrid golf venues in the Association to 19.

With every new admission, the MGCA makes sure about the outstanding quality of each of these venues. Proof and warranty of this quality is the work of impeccable designers such as Jack Nicklaus, José Maria Olazabal, Von Hagge, or Rees Jones, among others. Anyone wishing to hit the fairways will have plenty of excellent options, as many of the MGCA Clubs are open to visitors from all over the world. All of this adds up to a very complete and surprising golf offer.

Far from the next-to-the-beach images that come to mind when talking about golf in Spain, Madrid offers an urban golf experience that allows you to combine your favorite sport with business, cultural and gastronomical activities. This lively region has one of the richest cultural offerings in Europe, streets that never sleep filled up with great restaurants and delicious tapas bars, the best-made wines, and rural surroundings that still preserve the magic and intimacy of small mountain villages.
