IAGTO Tenerife Golf Trophy: The island of Tenerife is ready to present itself for the big occasion as it prepares to organize the largest IAGTO trophy so far. The popular event, which began in 2015, is ready to present its usual warm welcome to golf visitors for the fifth annual event of the tournament to be held from May 20 to 23.

With ninety-two confirmed golf tour operators from twenty-nine countries, it is the largest attendance for any IAGTO Trophy and promises to be a memorable occasion to experience the island’s golf courses and a host of other attractive activities planned. More than a hundred suppliers of golf courses, golf resorts and hotels will play their role to show the unique attraction of Tenerife with almost two thousand meetings planned between operators and suppliers, all with the wonderful common denominator that is the game of golf.

After taking on the challenge of the previous hosts, Costa del Sol, Costa Brava, Costa Blanca and Costa Cálida, participants will have the opportunity to experience all the golf courses of eighteen holes in Tenerife as well as Tecina Golf in the nearby island of La Gomera.

Buenavista Golf and the Real Golf Club of Tenerife in the north, and Golf Costa Adeje, Abama Golf, Golf Las Americas, Golf del Sur and Amarilla Golf in the south, will host various events in which Golf Las Americas and Golf Costa Adeje will be the venues of the competition of the IAGTO Tenerife Golf Trophy.

The third edition of the European Tour Destinations Senior Classic will be held from July 12 to 14 at PGA Catalunya Resort in recognition of the Stadium Course on its twentieth anniversary. The resort of Girona has hosted three editions of the Spanish Open and was the setting for the Final Phase of the Classification School for the European Tour for nine consecutive years until 2016, showing its quality at the highest level.

“This tournament has been growing in strength in the two years since its launch,” says Iain McInally, director of European Tour Destinations. “I must thank the Staysure Tour for making it possible to organize this tournament and show some of our highlights. From April 24 to May 26, all the excuses are good to go to the Algarve. The tradition and richness of the Algarvian gastronomie with typical and genuine flavors are celebrated in the 9th edition of the “Rota do Petisco“, an event that, over four weeks, proposes a route for more than 250 of the best restaurants in the region, including in Lagos, Portimão, Silves, Faro and Tavira. A total of 303 restaurants and cafés from 12 counties, will be ready to welcome you with a tasty tapa, a glace of wine and enthusiasm.

To embark on this trip, participants must purchase a Passport (for sale at information points and participating restaurants), at a cost of € 1.50, which totally reverts for different local social projects. For each 12 stamps added in the Passport (for each 12 restaurants visited), the participants are still qualified for a set of prizes, to be drawn at the end of the event.

Among the participants in the Delight Snack Road are the Pousada de Sagres, Tivoli Hotel (Lagos), Mar d’Estorias (Lagos), Faina Museum (Portimão), Taberna de Portimão, Maria do Mar (Portimão) , the Recanto dos Mouros (Silves), the Come in the Drawer (Tavira), the Salt Water (Tavira), the WAX ​​(Faro) or the Chalavar (Faro).
