Four Golf Courses in Mallorca!!
Recently the Federatión Balear de Golf has announced that the European Challenge Tour final season tournament will be held in Mallorca for the next four years. In this first edition it will take place at the beginning of November at the recently renovated Alcanada Golf Club, thus being the final stop of the newly named ‘Road to Mallorca’.
In this way Mallorca returns to the international calendar of the Challenge Tour for the first time since 2003, establishing the agreement between the Challenge Tour and the Federation Balear de Golf Federation that the Grand Final wil be played in several golf courses of the island.
“This was a goal yearned for by Balearic golf for years, and we have finally made it come true. I want to thank both the Government and the Consell de Mallorca for their commitment to our sport, which is undoubtedly a commitment to quality. In this way Mallorca and the Balearic Islands will once again be strongly on the map of European golf, as the islands golf courses deserve, which make up a first class offer. Mallorca is a paradise for golf, ”says Bernardino Jaume, president of the Balearic Golf Federation. “This Road to Mallorca is very important, and it is a historic day for golf in the Balearic Islands.
