The IAGTO European Convention (IEC) is back. From May 19 to 21, the spotlight will shine on Gran Canaria, and the golf travel community will come together again. With more than 30 years delivering top-tier golf experiences in Portugal, Spain, and other destinations, Tee Times Golf Holidays is proud to be part of this essential industry event as an IAGTO member.

This year’s IEC will be held at ExpoMeloneras — a world-class venue in the heart of Gran Canaria’s hospitality district.

Designed by the legendary Donald Steel and opened in 2000, this championship layout is loved for its flowing fairways, tricky lakes, and greens that keep even the steadiest hands on edge. From June through mid-September, PGA Aroeira No. 2 will temporarily close for a thoughtful renovation that promises to raise the playing experience to a whole new level. Expect revamped tees and bunkers, top-dressed fairways and greens, smarter drainage, smoother buggy paths, improved lakes, and upgraded landscaping. Even the practice area and irrigation systems are getting attention. The best part? A new set of on-course restrooms for added comfort during your round—because great golf deserves great amenities.
