Europeans failed to comeback on the last day in Minnestota

The European victory streak in the Ryder Cup came to an end on Sunday with the first US triumph in eight years at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska Minn.

The 41st Ryder Cup Matches were held in the United States from September 30 to October 2, 2016, at the Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota. Europe entered the competition as the cup holders, having won in 2014 in Scotland for their third consecutive win.

The victory was sealed when Ryan Moore defeated Lee Westwood in the 18 per 1up, offering redemption to the US and its captain Davis Love III of the “Miracle of Medinah” in 2012, when Europe came from behind 4 points (6-10 ) to win sensationally in the last match. Zach Johnson and Dustin Johnson reinforced the American score with German Martin Kaymer defeating Matt Kuchar putting the final result in 17-11.

Rory McIlroy and Patrick Reed led their teams throughout the tournament, and facing each other in singles, produced a front nine of the highest quality in the first match of the day, making eight birdies and one eagle between them and turning to the back nine tied.

The residential and leisure complex has prepared a varied program of activities that combines stay, gastronomy, enjoy a unique natural environment and, of course, sports in one of the best golf courses in Europe and the best golf course of Spain according to the World Golf Awards 2015.

The proposed resort includes activities for adults and children.

The KIDS ‘CLUB 2016 program of activities is designed for children aged 5 to 13 years, offering a variety of recreational and sporting activities, including golf lessons, tennis and paddle tennis. Places are limited, so advanced booking is advised.

And for seniors who want to put the finishing touches on a great day of golf on the course designed by Cabell B Robinson, Las Colinas Golf & Country Club offers its SUMMER NIGHTS Saturday: evenings with fantastic live music and great food on the terrace of UNiK COFFEE. Dinner is served between 20 and 22.30 hours to give way, from eleven in the evening, to musical performances. In addition, the gin and tonics special events are prepared by expert barmen.

The planned program begins on 30 July with a traditional Argentinian barbecue and The Liverpool Band, with their tribute to The Beatles greatest hits.
