La Cala America formerly the North Course, Campo America is enhanced by spectacular views to the Sierra de Ojén and Mediterranean Sea. A buggy is a necessity as the golf course is extremely hilly and has some huge changes in elevation on and between golf holes, La Cala America have some occasional long distances between greens and tees. It’s wide, linked fairways and relatively few bunkers make La Cala America a slightly easier driving course, requiring a lot of carry across steep brush-covering side slopes, while the small raised greens demands precise club selection.You will find water hazards on the 9th and 16th.Holes 6, 9 and 18, par-5ths are particularly more challenging and the par-3 16th is a real treat to play. An emblem of the architectural brilliance of the designer Cabell B. Robinson, he takes pride in the complexity of the La Cala America golf course and values it as one of its personal favorite works. (...)

The Islantilla Golf course is one of the best golf courses in Huelva. It has 27 holes surrounded by typical landscapes of Costa de la Luz and 3 golf circuits are available of 9 holes each. Some of the most important golf tournaments of Andalusia are held here, inaugurated in 1992, the only golf course in the province of Huelva to hold one round of the European Tour, the Tour España Masters in 1995. The Islantilla golf course was designed to offer different levels of difficulty: three 18-hole options for three different game experiences. The blue course is for players with a low handicaps; the green one combines length and precision, perfect for players with a medium handicap; and the yellow one was designed for players with a high handicap. La Cala Europa course is 6014 metres in length, par 71. A dramatic golf course but easier for the average golfer, with generous fairways, flatter terrain and slightly larger greens than Campo America and Asia. Notable for one main bridge and four smaller bridges across the River Ojén, which features in eight holes, cutting across three fairways. There are four tunnels for golf carts. Water hazards guard the 3rd and 14th greens. The 14th is at the maximum limit of what is allowed for a par 3 at 233 metres. The par 5 11th is the longest hole at 524 metres. La Cala Resort is one of the largest and most exclusive resorts in southern Europe with three 18 hole golf courses, the only David Leadbetter Golf Academy in Spain and a high standard Par 3 six hole golf course. The natural features of the La Cala terrain have been used to challenging effect by the renowned golf course architect, Cabell B. Robinson. The three golf courses are carefully maintained to ensure they are playable all year round. The North Course (now renamed Campo America) is perhaps more difficult than the shorter South (Campo Asia) but both demand great accuracy from the tee and careful club selection. Meanwhile, the third golf course, Campo Europa, uses the River Ojen in making the course distinctive. The layout allows for plenty of water hazards. The Links course at the Alcaidesa Golf Resort orignally opened in 1990 then remodeled in 1999 to improve its playability by widening fairways and ironing out some of the more severe undulations on the greens. It is an undulating cliff top seaside course that enjoys stunning views over the Mediterranean, the Straits of Gibraltar and the distant Atlas Mountains in North Africa. The course has an out and back routing with the first four holes heading towards the shoreline and the mile-long beach. Holes 5 to 14 then play out along the coast before the fairways head back inland to complete the round in front of the clubhouse.
