The course was in good condition considering the bad weather. We enjoyed the round. One comment which is applicable to other Vilamoura courses as well: the trolleys are old and in terrible condition. It is annoying to keep picking up your golf bag after it has fallen off again. It's time to replace them.

It's hard to give a correct satisfaction survey about Millennium because on the day we played it there had been very heavy rain during the night and the early part of the day. The green were very slow to putt on, they looked as if they were not cut from the previous day.

Layout and visuals for holes 3 to 8 were terrific and the back nine was great. Course in good shape. Greens a little slow but they were consistent. Pace of play very slow early on but we had a wonderful marshall who stopped twice to tell us what he was doing about it and the pace improved. Gets my vote as best Marshall ever. Give him a raise! Overall a great day of golf!

Millennium continues to be a very pleasant holiday course. In my opinion it is by far the best of the 3 Dom Pedro mid range courses, well ahead of Pinhal and Laguna. It can be easily walked. Front 9 include some quite tricky holes among the trees. Back 9 more open and overall very enjoyable with the course in very good condition.

Without doubt this is the best condition Millenium has been in on my last 3 annual visits . It must be a deliberate attempt by the new owners to look after their prized courses as it doesn’t happen by accident. Lovely fairways good tee areas well maintained bunkers and excellent fast undulating greens what else could a golfer want , ( a hole in one and cheaper green fees maybe !). If you haven’t played Millenium on your current stay you should whilst it’s playing this good. Well done Dom Pedro credit where credits due.

Very slow, when we got to par 3 6th hole - there were 3 groups already on the tee. The ranger was excellent and said that the course was very busy and groups wouldn’t move on despite being told. He suggested we play the front 9 again and later updated us and told us that some groups ahead had already done that and the back 9 would be ok - which it was.
