Quinta da Ria takes its name because of the views along the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve. A very flat, open golf course with nice greens. Bunkers have lower edges, but very thick rough. You will also find some water around this golf course. Quinta da Ria would suit players with medium high handicaps and is a very friendly course for ladies enabling them to enjoy a shorter distance with 927m between the red and yellow tees. A commercial golf course with great views to the mountain, Ria Formosa nature reserve and ocean, great for playing whilst on vacation and beautiful to walk around.

Quinta da Ría was the best of the five courses we played the past week. The conditions of the course were excellent greens and fairways as well as pristine bunkers! Play could be a bit quicker but with a full course it was understandable. The nineteenth hole is less than one would expect after playing a round at such a nice course.
Note to the course mgmt.; Just mark the scorecard based on the color of the tee and their distances, versus having “Men’s and Women’s Tees. Speed of play should pick up as golfers will be more apt to play the tees best suited to their game! Rating tees based on sex is passé!

Very fun course. If you are choosing between this course and Quinta de Cima choose Ria every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

Excellent test of golf. Course presented in very good condition. Very busy so round took 4hr40min but that was not a problem. The area around 17 & 18 most attractive with plenty of birds.

Ria and Cima are both excellent courses in very good condition. The greens have good speed, tee-boxes even and well maintained. Both courses are very good value for money.
