Quinta da Ria takes its name because of the views along the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve. A very flat, open golf course with nice greens. Bunkers have lower edges, but very thick rough. You will also find some water around this golf course. Quinta da Ria would suit players with medium high handicaps and is a very friendly course for ladies enabling them to enjoy a shorter distance with 927m between the red and yellow tees. A commercial golf course with great views to the mountain, Ria Formosa nature reserve and ocean, great for playing whilst on vacation and beautiful to walk around.

Course excellent nicely manicured from tee to green. It seemed that they were pushing extra people in. Constantly had to wait before taking shots. Etiquette on the golf course seems to be forgotten when your messing around looking for golf balls for longer than3 mins you should let people through if your keeping them waiting. It should be monitored by a steward on a buggy to help speed of play.

The golf course was absolutely beautiful and in excellent condition
We did not know that we needed to reserve a buggy in advance so we had to walk the course.

Quinta da Ria course is very well maintained and always a pleasure to play on. Staff were professional & helpful.
I wasn't paired up with others, so the front 9 was completed fairly quickly. Many four balls had started on no.10 before I got there, so the back 9 was very slow. As a single golfer, I can't really complain though.
