Quinta de Cima also known as the championship course is the tougher course of the two Quinta da Ria resort. A long golf course with wide fairways and good greens. All the greens are protected by lots of flat bunkers and you will find tough lines which are very hard to read. Hole 14 is a very tight hole with out of bounds on both sides, it needs solid shots to finish it. The wind here is fundamental; if you are playing on a windy day you will need to be very focused. Quinta da Cima would suit players with a medium low handicap and is a very friendly course for ladies enabling them to enjoy a shorter distance with 1115m between the red and yellow tees. A challenging golf course with nice views towards the river.

Fantastic golf course, generally suits all golfers, where your not punished too many times by poor shots, staff as always, very good.

As per last year the course was really well conditioned - on a par with Quinta da Ria - greens tees and fairways really good - lovely practice facilities. Can’t fault the golf course. Only slight downside were bar prices in clubhouse but as it’s a hotel resort …… golf wise course conditions and green fees 10 out 10 for value - clubhouse 8 out of 10 value.

Course is in great condition, fairways, bunkers, rough and greens. Wider fairways make for an easier time getting around the course. Looking forward to playing adjacent course Quinta da Ría.
*Undulated - Gentle, long rolling fairways with few major inclines
*Dogleg - Only on 4 holes 3,5,6,18th
*Tree Lined - Olive trees, well placed but sparse in general
*Exposed - On several holes with slightly elevated tees
*Buggy Recommended - Fairly flat course
*Water hazards - On 4,6,13,16,17 and 18th but several hidden streams on Par 5's
*Parkland - Yes
*Signature Hole - 18th
*Comments - Very good course and value
