Located along the stunning Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, Quinta da Ria Golf Course offers a picturesque 18-hole experience in the Algarve. This flat and open course is perfect for medium to high handicap players, with a friendly layout for ladies, featuring 927 meters between the red and yellow tees. Golfers can enjoy a variety of well-designed holes, lush fairways, and smooth greens, all while taking in breathtaking views of the mountains, ocean, and protected lagoon.
While bunkers have lower edges, the thick rough and water hazards add a layer of challenge. The diverse hole layout ensures an engaging round, making it ideal for both casual golfers and those seeking a relaxing yet rewarding game. The course’s walkability adds to its appeal, allowing players to fully appreciate the natural beauty of the Ria Formosa.
Tee times at Quinta da Ria should be reserved in advance, especially during peak golf seasons. Green fees vary, but golfers can secure discounted rates and special offers through Tee Times Golf Agency, a trusted booking partner for Quinta da Ria and other top Algarve golf courses.

Seems a little bit simple when you arrive, but you will change your mind already on the practice area...plenty of pratice greens for chipping, pitching and putting and a quite good driving range.
It's deffinetly a golf place - not so much show and glamor than other courses here at Algarve.
The club house and terrace is simple, but very friendly and cosy.
Greens and Teeboxes were in perfect condition - fairways good, but not perfect.
Bunkers sometimes to much fluffy sand...
The views to the ocean on many holes are really lovely.
Even with many holes next to each other, it feels not narrow and you hear less "FORE" than at other places :-)
It was a great day - very close to a "10".

A lovely flat course that is forgiving for golfers. Wide fairways and heavenly bunkers. The sand is like fine powder and relatively easy to get out of. I played just a few days after a big storm but you wouldn't have known it as the course is in immaculate condition. The greens are true and the only thing wrong was my poor golf which wasn't their fault.
