Quinta do Vale Golf Course
Quinta do Vale is a Severiano Ballesteros design located close to the Spanish border.A great challenging golf course with long holes, fairly wide fairways and tricky greens. The course is very hilly so you will need a buggy. Your shot from the tee will need to be perfect or you will have trouble to reach the green. Due to the course being high if it is windy you will find it more difficult. Some holes you need to be very precise or you could finish in the water. Hole 15th a par 5 has a beautiful view to the bridge of Guadiana from the tee. Quinta do Vale would suit players with medium low handicaps and is a very friendly course for ladies enabling them to enjoy a shorter distance with 955m between the red and yellow tees. A great golf course with beautiful views over the Guadiana River.

After weeks of heavy rain and numerous cancelled events, we were amazed that this course was in such excellent condition throughout. Good layout and excellent playing surfaces. Be warned, water comes into play on numerous holes making it a course best played in calm weather. It was exceptionally windy when we played leading to an exceptional number of lost balls.

Quinta do Vale is getting better and better since it joined forces with Quinta Da Ria. The course condition was good and nice to see the new short game course nearly ready for action.

The quality of the golf course has noticeably improved since I last played it. I am not sure what changes have been made in the maintenance of the course but the course is in great condition.

Good variety with 6 par 3’s, 6 par 4’s and 6 par 5’s. Front 9 has water in play on nearly every hole. Back 9 is more in the hills. Service was very good in and around the clubhouse and lunch was nice too.
