Laranjal golf course named as it was originally an orange grove and opened in 2009 is the newest Quinta do Lago golf course. Designed in an American style, very long and wide with huge fast greens. There is only one hole which is slightly high. Hole 9 is a beautiful Par 5 with water protecting the green and hole 7 is one of the longest par 3 in Portugal with 236m from the pro tees . Laranjal is a challenging golf course but would suit all players and is a special friendly golf course for ladies enabling them to enjoy 877mt less distance between the red and yellow tees. A beautiful well liked golf course with great views. The Ocean is visible and due to the location in the laranjal, or orange grove you will be able to pick the oranges as you play! (...)

Pinheiros Altos Golf Course offers 27 holes divided on 3 times 9 holes golf courses : The Corks, the Pines and the Olives. Olives and Pines, golf courses each presenting different characteristics. The Olives are the old back nine and are more flat, the wind has greater influence and have some holes where the water element comes in to play. The eighth hole, island par 3, is a good choice for nearest the pin, and is also the golf courses signature hole. Pines, the original front nine, where 4 new holes have been integrated and as its name indicates presents a more parkland course, plenty of pine trees, elevations, dog legs and also 3 lakes that protect 3 very tempting greens. The 4th a short par 5, the 5th a long par 4, stroke 1 and the 6th a par 5 reachable in 2 if you had a good tee shot. Signature hole, again a beautiful Par 3 over a valley to a McKenzie green. A great golf course, very demanding and if you succeed to finish with 36 points on stabelford you probably have played your best golf. San Lorenzo Golf Course

Due to a fire that happened in the clubhouse earlier this summer, the golf course is currently operating with temporary facilities. The Tees, fairways and greens remain undamaged and in excellent condition. - Food and beverages are exclusive to the buggy bar. - Temporary restroom facilities remain available throughout the premises. San Lourenco is a par 72 golf course located in Quinta do Lago and is considered one of the best and most beautiful golf courses in Europe. The fact that this is an award-winning golf course is no coincidence. Bordering with the breathtaking Ria Formosa Natural Park, some of its golf holes are blessed with what can only be described as exquisite beauty. If the first holes of San Lourenco golf course present no major surprise or challenges, after the 3rd, closer to the estuary, San Lourenco golf course starts to reveal itself. After the 5th hole, a par-3 and the course's shortest, you're introduced to a dogleg, stroke 1 sixth hole where your main challenge will be to avoid the dense shrub, so make sure you get your distances just right. As you get to the 7th, life is by no chance made easier but you still get the bonus of the outstanding views from this elevated tee before you have to focus on how to get around that green almost entirely surrounded by water. On the back nine, the 12th is the most challenging hole on San Lourenco, featuring a deep chasm along the left of a very narrow fairway. Holes 13th to 16th also face the ocean with the latter proving to be the most demanding par-3, featuring a whole 180 m carry to a shallow green. Seventeenth is, again, extremely beautiful but still falls short of the beauty that awaits you on the last hole. It is a great finale and one that will remain in your memory as it has an excellence that is renowned worldwide.
