PGA Aroeira No.1 (Pines Classic Golf Course) Aroeira, Lisbon
Aroeira Pines Classic Golf Course opened in 1973, this golf course has 18 holes of championship golf designed by architect Frank Pennink.Considered by experts as one of the best courses in Europe, the Aroeira I received the Open de Portugal in 1996 and 1997 and several Ladies Open. It starts with a nice par 5 surrounded by trees on the right and on the left, but with very generous fairways , that allow players to take advantage of their tee shots . (...)
PGA Aroeira No.2 (Challenge Golf Course) Aroeira, Lisbon
Aroeira Challenge Golf Course, opened in April 2000. Its architect, Donald Steel, was careful to comply with the recommendations of the European Tour and draw a field thinking about future Opens in Portugal. With 18 long greens that surround 5 great lakes, the tees on each hole allow the course to be played by all levels of players.
