Quinta do Lago South
The Quinta do Lago South course was designed in 1974 and has hosted the Portuguese Open, on several occasions. Quinta do Lago South golf course is tougher than the North; it is tight with some holes having narrow fairways. You will find very good, large greens. The course is made more challenging by a good variety of doglegs and strategically located hazards. The 17th Par 5 hcp4 could be the signature hole .Quinta do Lago South golf course is a challenging golf course set amongst umbrella pines, lakes and wild flowers overlooking the beautiful scenery of the Ria Formosa National Park, and the quinta do lago lake , suitable for golf players with medium, low handicaps and is a fairly friendly golf course for ladies enabling them to enjoy a shorter distance with 678m between the red and yellow tees .

News - Quinta do Lago South re open

In regards to the closure of Quinta do Lago South Course, we would like to inform all our guests that due to the unexpected torrencial rain last week, works will be delayed on this golf course and therefore, they are forced to postpond the reopening of the Quinta do Lago South golf course.
Due to these circunstances, Quinta South will reopen now on the 9th of January 2021.
All the reservations will be moved to Quinta North and Laranjal, and you will be contacted by our reservations team to be informed of the change.

Course was very quiet which was great from my perspective. Course was in pretty good condition for the time of year. Greens were still very fast and all the staff I encountered were very polite and friendly.

Lovely golf course its the first time we have played it in a number of years brought back good memories.
