The weather for the week of our golf trip was awful however the forecast for the day we had planned to not play golf was looking promising so we did a last minute booking at Pine Cliffs and decided to have a pairs texas scramble for a bit of fun. It's not a course that will see regular groups of golfers, it's more of a holiday resort set-up for families and guests staying at the hotel. The facilities are very good, service was ok and the course despite not being long or particularly challenging was in good condition. The greens were better than most that we played on this years golf trip. Don't expect a quick round, we made it to the par 3 6th across the ravine to find 3 other groups already waiting to tee off. Handicap certs clearly not required, some entertainment can be had watching the first tee with a beer in your hand after you've finished.

The 9 holes par 3 and 4 course (no par 5) is situated in beautiful surroundings. And especially on hole 5, crossing a canyon, one has a magnificent view on the canyon and the sea. In our opinion even that alone justifies a round on this course. The course was well maintained, not very challenging and rather crowded on the day we played there. All in all we enjoyed our day.

Exceptional service. My group had a flight canceled from Ireland 30 minutes before departure & couldn’t get another flight until 2 days later. Celine was extremely professional and managed at very short notice over the weekend to rearrange our golf days and with suitable tee times that meant we didn’t lose out on our golf holiday. The signage within the supposed 5 star development (Sheraton) to where the golf clubhouse was totally inadequate. I had to go to the range to ask where the clubhouse was. The staff on duty the day before I was due to play were very unhelpful and lots of ambiguity. The range wasn’t open until 20 mins after I was due to tee off, they did not have a full set of clubs (ie 14). I was not allowed to arrange a half set seeing as I was carrying my clubs/bag. I had to almost argue the toss that I wanted a range token the day before my round seeing as the range wasn’t going to b open. There was no starter in place to advise of local rules and protocol and on the day of my visit the blonde female golf assistant gave me a dismissive attitude as I was waiting for her to open the shop at the given opening time. The golf itself was very good with 3 excellent other partners and the course was in decent order with 9 interesting holes

Played here several times over a period of 8 years, the course never fails to disappoint indeed my visit today was superb, online booking with TeeTimes was so simple (thanks Telma). Course was in excellent condition, arrived early but was told I could tee off straight away as no one was waiting. Very leisurely first 9 holes was indeed made even better, after a brief break, by my playing another 9. (Same tee positions as the first 9 though). The facilities and pro shop staff made me very welcome. I will certainly return as the cost of a round supercedes that of the more expensive courses a few kilometers away in Vilamoura, not as demanding sure but a true test of one's short game with spectacular views on several holes. The jewel that is Pine Cliffs...thanks.

First time playing this course and a lovely surprise. Played the 9 holes twice and enjoyed the 2nd time as much as the first. Not the most challenging test but still worth a visit with some great holes and views. Staff were excellent. The restaurant at the golf club was closed and we had planned to get some food before playing. A member of staff drove us over to the main hotel to get food and they provided transport back when we'd eaten. Definitely play it again.

I was a little worried about scam as one is when paying up front for something but Marisa gave me confidence that I could book and pay with confidence. I paid for 3 players to play on a Friday in early February 2022. One of our party hurt his back and could not play. As the money went to Tee Times we were not sure about a refund but Ana in the Golf Shop of Pine Cliffs called Marisa who agreed to refund us. We had an acknowledgement email to that effect and felt fairly treated. I recommend both organisations highly.

Pinecliffs is a compact course that need a certain amount of accuracy. The course is in good condition with minimal worn areas. As always the feature hole 6/15 is slow but worth the wait. Ongoing maintenance works are keeping the course standard. A little bit of wear on the teeing areas is OK,, especially due to average golfer who plays here. We play 1 round here every year and will continue to do so.

The condition of the tees , fairways and greens was very good but the bunkers were all very wet, compacted and very few had been raked. Overall this is a nice short course suitable for a wide range of handicap golfers. You either need to be a short or very straight hitter to score on this course. The feature hole 6th is a sheer delight as it is short but still affects you mentally

Great golf course with some stunning views, tough little nine hole course where accuracy is key, shoot offline and expect a tree to be in your way! Shame the course doesn't have Buggies as we played in the height of the sun in the afternoon so walking was a struggle but still enjoyed the round, course not too busy mid afternoon with great practice facilities would highly recommend

Pine cliffs is a very scenic golf course in very good condition and everything ran smoothly No complaints about the course. How ever the clubhouse bar is quite expensive

A lovely course at the wonderful sheraton resort. Very spectacular the 6th hole, a Par-3 where you have to hit over a bay like Royal Course at Vale do Lobo.

Not well organized for anyone playing 18 holes as they book tee times continuously and have the people coming off number nine wait till they can fit them in. 5 hours to play a short course like Pine Cliffs is way too long. I can see why a lot of people only plat 9 holes here. However, the course was in good shape and has nice scenery.

This 9 hole course offers as different kind of challenge as it is relatively short but has 3 holes that require a draw off the tee, which is not naturalk to most mid/high handicap golfers.

Thoroughly enjoyed this course and with plenty of run, it made the course an ideal holiday venue for ladies and gents. Provided you were accurate enough to position your Tee shot to allow you a clear shot to the greens and avoid well positioned trees, challenging pars were definitely on the cards.
