Real Club de Golf Las Palmas is the oldest golf club in Spain, founded on 17 December 1891 by a group of British residents on Gran Canaria — among them Mackenzie Ross, who would return more than six decades later to design the course as it exists today. The club moved to its current site at Bandama in 1957, on the rim of an extinct volcanic crater, about fifteen minutes from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

18 holes, par 71, 6,636 metres. Narrow fairways run between deep ravines, with small, well-guarded greens — a short course by modern standards, but a technical one, built for accuracy over length. Views take in the crater, the island's summits and the Atlantic. It's a small, member-focused club rather than a resort course, so amenities like GPS buggies are limited — the setting and the history make up for it.

Facilities include two putting greens (one floodlit), a practice tee, a pitching green, a pro shop, a restaurant and wine cellar, plus an equestrian centre with 50 stables and 5 paddocks, two tennis courts, and a 12-room boutique hotel on site.
