The New Course (North Course) in south Gran Canaria, was constructed in 2008 and was designed by Ron Kirby. This 18 hole, par 72 golf course has evolved extensively in recent years.
The New Golf Course is known as ''The Beast'', it is more challenging than ''The Beauty'' (the South Course!) and perfect for golfers who like a challenge while having the spectacular views and desert feel that makes Salobre golf so superb.
Very challenging course
Brilliant Venue and great staff
Excellent love it here, the hotel is fab too
The course was not in best condition. They have changed a lot of the tees from 45 to 40 without any information. It was very difficult to know which tee to use. The fairways and greens was in good condition but the overall impression was that it has degenerated.

Very bad conditions
This course has some challenging holes, staff very friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed the whole round.
Very strange golf course and very difficult and funny
The New course is a challenging course but had been shortened and modified from when we played it last year and, in my opinion, this does not improve the experience. It is a course which did, and still does, although not quite to the same extent, require some thought and careful play to play it successfully. The Old course is more of a parkland style course, although with some challenging aspects, and I found it very enjoyable to play.
Challenging fairways, beautiful views, greens in maintenance, facilities on the course excellent
Salobre NEW - if you dont hit allt of fairways, don't bother haha. it is very exiting to play with alot of variation in difficulty and challenges, playing the par 4, 300m from far above and trying to hit green is super fun for example. But as I said, out of fairway, is a ball lost 90% of the time
