The Royal Golf Club of Tenerife was founded on December 18, 1932, which makes it one of the oldest in Spain. However, its origins go back much further back in time, with its partners being proud to be part of the first Golf Club created in Spain. The golf course that we enjoy today was designed by several prestigious players of our Golf Club, Mr. Andrés Alberto, Mr. Antonio Lucena, Mr. Joaquín Laynez and Mr. Aureliano Yanes.
Good course but thought the green fee was rather expensive bearing in mind there were 5 temporary greens which we should have been advised of beforehand?
No upfront information about ongoing major course maintenance. Service and food at the club restaurant was excellent.
Since the golf course is in the north of Tenerife, we unfortunately played in clouds with drizzle for the most part. The short moments without clouds show an interesting place, but partly in no special condition. You have to be lucky to play in good weather!

Nice course in good condition. Initial check in was very slow and somewhat labou red
Well worth the visit, this club and course are so different from the courses in the south of the island - reminiscent of similar over 100-year old clubs back in England.
Good course and well run. Sand in the bunkers was disappointing however.
Lovely old course, well maintained with some interesting holes.
Staff friendly and course in good condition with a pleasant variety of holes. Excellent WiFi in clubhouse.
