Excellent, even when buggy ran out of steam but recued by extremely helpful and cheery member of staff who delivered a new one immediately , Thanks to Telma for arranging a change of tee time because no buggys available . Had a very relaxed game of golf with none in front or behind

Lovely course really enjoyed it . Not as manicured as some but that is not necessarily a bad thing OnlyLovely course, prob not as manicured as some . Good holes and not too hard though usual lost balls. Only down was the buggy brake almost ineffective and strap on one side bad...my clubs fell off 3 times!

Our group played the Guadiana/Atlantic 9s this time round. Most excellent little track for society golf, very underrated. Also makes for a great day to zip across the bridge into Ayemonte and add tapas at the marina after. As an organiser of society events I have to commend the reception staff and caddymaster for their service. Always very helpful and courteous and it is very appreciated.

Overall a nice course. Tricky though. Greens not brilliant, but satisfactory. Very attractive. Staff very friendly.

Staff were friendly. I had a buggy & at times, it didn't cope well with the slippery conditions (esp. 3rd hole Guadiana). Enjoyed the round, the course was in pretty good condition although one or two of the greens were a bit pockmarked. Managed to finish before it rained.????

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit today to Castro Marim. Played Grouse and Guardiana nines. Cracking layout and superb conditions. Views to savour and excellent greens. Only criticism was a slow pace of play in front which was backing up play. Excellent service from staff.

Course very wet. Is there a drainage issue?? Some fairways not cut - nd haven’t been for a while. Lots of weeds around greens. Not up to usual standard

Beautiful surrounding . Walking with a trolley is difficult ( many hills and sharp going down) . What I really did miss was sitting possibilities to sit!!! At no hole at all was a possibility to take a little rest!!

Most enjoyable, course a bit drought stricken but that can’t be helped with lack of rain, first 9 greens very good but never got the pace of the spiked and sanded back 9. Lovely bar area and very reasonable prices even for non residents

A good course, for an out of the way location it was much busier than classy neighbour Qunito do Vale but less refined. A very good and worthy challenge though with many dog legs although a number of similar looking tee shots

A nice welcome at reception & I was dealt with in a friendly & efficient manner. The course was in quite good condition, a little inconsistency in the quality of the bunkers, but otherwise fine. An enjoyable morning's golf.

Tee Times was a great service! They quickly responded to me and when I asked to make a change, they were quick to get it done. The golf course was nice however the signs need to be better because they change course names after you finish the first 9 holes. There are no signs to tell you where to go so it makes it a little confusing if you've not been there. The restaurant was not impressive. The young girl who works there first behaved as though she didn't understand my husband but then did so clearly, she was not wanting to be waitressing today. The food was not good. They really need a good cook there as it really is difficult to mess up a cheeseburger. It took 3x to get mine cooked and they were nice enough about it and apologized but it still makes for a bad experience. It seems a shame with such a beautiful clubhouse and the area that the food which was an easy order was such a let down. Paulo and the Andre as well as Bob were great! The spacing should be about 15 minutes in between with so many walking the course. I think that would be better so that you don't get stacked up.

Very nice course design and layout for the for the hilly terrain. Lots of ups and downs and carries over water hazards, challenging but very fair. Conditions are good but could be better thereby making the course a gem.

Very friendly staff, popular so can get busy. We always love playing here. Its a very enjoyable course with a good mix of holes, good condition. Enjoyable for high/low handicap golfers (we are M5/ F 26)
