Golfe do Montado
Montado Golf Course hostes the International of Portugal since 2009. It is a par 72, with 6.366m, distinguished by environment dominated by vineyards and flat morphology region, developing a fitted oak trees where brooks and lakes make it unique.The course layout offers large greens and holes with particular characteristics, highlighting the 18th hole where the green is situated on an island.The Clubhouse (2000m2 covered area) also the subject of an internal rearrangement including a spa, gym, sauna, Turkish bath and heated indoor pool, hair salon.

Montado had a lot of torks, thats fun to see. The course is friendly, wide fairways and in good conditions. Not spectaculair but fun. The last hole (par 3 island green) is a stunner. Apart from the course, the rest of the surroundings (hotel/clubhouse?/etc) are unused an deteriorated, almost look like a call of duty map or abandoned Jurassic Park. We got told there's an investor to get it nice again but that can take a couple years.

very friendly reception and golf course in good condition. very quiet so pleased to not have the 5 hour rounds now experiencing elsewhere in Cascais and Algarve

For the price we paid the course was in good condition, great value for money and we got a nice warm welcome. The overall venue will improve greatly when the hotel renovations are completed

Greens not too good as just sanded

Golf do Montado has a great layout with very interesting holes using doglegs, bunkers and water very well. We were very unlucky as the greens had been sanded, so not up to normal standards, but would have been excellent. The hotel is apparently going to undergo renovation but right now is not used and the clubhouse is only a small wooden hut and an office. So there is no catering available.

Wir spielen diesen Platz seid 2007 immer wieder.
Er war immer in einem gutem Zustand.
Aber!
Das Hotel Montado wird Renoviert. Dadurch ist der Platz kaum bespielt.
Der Platz ist in einem „EXELENTEM ZUSTAND“
Die Fairways super gepflegt.
Die Grüns super gepflegt.
Die Bunker mit echt lockerem Sand.
Wir haben keinen Spieler gesehen!!!
Es war ein Genuss diesen Platz zu spielen.
Wer die Chance hat 2024 diesen Platz zu spielen sollte diese nutzen.

We have been playing this course on and off since 2007.
It has always been in good condition.
But!
The Hotel Montado is being renovated. As a result, the course is hardly played.
The course is in "EXCELLENT CONDITION"
The fairways are well maintained.
The greens super well maintained.
The bunkers with really loose sand.
We didn't see a single player!!!
It was a pleasure to play this course.
Anyone who has the chance to play this course in 2024 should take it.
