Las Américas Golf Course
Golf las Américas opened in 1998, designed by John Jacobs and is situated in the Heart of Playa de Las Américas, the best golf course in Tenerife. Golf Las Americas overlooks the sea and has been host to a number of important Spanish Championships. The 18 hole par 72 course features a number of lakes and water-filled ravines.
The golf course is attractively located in a natural, gently sloping amphi theater with a par 72 and 6.051 meters in length. Among its attractions, it offers ravines and lakes which contributes to a pleasant environmental effect.
It is noted for its excellent maintenance and its professionalism.

We turned up to play according to our reservation only to be told that we were actually booked for the following day at a different time. There was a large visiting party occupying all the tee times for just over two hours. Fortunately we were free the following day so we accepted the change. We were then phoned by Simon at tee times who assured us that the fault was with the course rather than the booking agents. We believed this….we felt that we had been bumped off our reserved tee time because a large visiting party had wanted to book. We were a bit annoyed.
Everything was fine the following day. We enjoyed the round. The course was in good condition although we were surprised how little roll there was on the ball. The greens were true even though they had just been top dressed and quite fast. The only down side was that there was a lot of noise from the hotels around the course.
After our round we went in to the club house for the meal that was included in our deal. There was a choice of two starters and two mains. Between us we had both starters and both mains. The food was delicious and nicely presented.

On paper the Adeje course is supposed to be better as its a championship course. That said Las Americas was also superb quality and a great challenge.
Again we were treated like kings with the brunch being different from Adeje but still outstanding. Definitely worth a visit.

Played it Friday. Probably the best of the 3 courses we have played.
(Costa Ajede Amarilla being other 2 courses played and very very good also)
Again I strongly recommend this course and am playing it again today.

Really great day, course was lovely and very playable. Nice restaurant and decent pro shop. All staff were helpful and friendly. I would have given a 10 but we only seen the buggy bar on the 3rd and not again which was a shame when it was so hot out there. Great package for golf, buggy and food. TeetimesPT were spot on and best price around.

Top class course from arrrival to the 18th hole (and the 19th hole which is lovely for a drink). This was a fabulous experience. The course was amazing, facilities were great and everyone was very friendly. I couldn’t recommend this course any more
