The La Cañada Golf Course is a fitting tribute to the people of Guadiaro who became golf addicts overnight with the emergence of Sotogrande. In the early days of the golf course, La Cañada just had 9 holes, and some years later it was added a second course designed by David Thomas. The full length Trent Jones course is located in the hills adjacent to Valderrama and is open to some wind.
At La Cañada Golf Club, we have carefully designed our Golf Packages to combine refined accommodation with access to a selection of outstanding golf courses. By including your stay and your rounds in one exclusive offer, we are able to provide exceptional value at a preferential rate — ensuring a seamless and rewarding golf escape.

Course conditions were not the best but, with the lack of rain that Spain has experienced this year it was satisfactory. We enjoyed it. They need to replace some older buggies, the 2 we had were hatd to steer.

Also it is not the "best" golf course by design and quality, we like it, and come back regularly for the price/perfomance. This year some of the greens were not in a good shape but overall - its worth to come back - to get golf practice restart.
