Higuerón Marbella Golf Resort (formerly Marbella Golf Country Club) welcomes a new era while preserving the original course’s spirit: a challenging, beautifully designed par-72 layout set on the Costa del Sol. Crafted by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Sr., the course blends strategic design, natural contours, fast greens, and well-placed bunkers — including several holes guarded by lakes — for a truly memorable round.
The course is split into two complementary 9-hole loops. The first nine are tighter and more technical, demanding precision and thoughtful play. The back nine opens up with longer holes that favor a more aggressive strategy, offering room for woods and hybrids. Both nines take full advantage of the terrain and panoramic vistas, creating variety and challenge for players of all levels.

On a cold and cloudy day we found the welcome and facilities were excellent!
Pro shop had a very good and reasonably priced clothing range.
The course was in very good condition.
A little slow but staff were ready to come out and explain what the issue was, well done. A well designed challenge.
