La Cala Resort Academy
La Cala Resort hosts La Cala Golf Academy which offers lessons and group classes for both beginners and experienced players, with multilingual professionals on hand to improve your game.
Situated beside the six hole par 3 course and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, it has a grass driving range as well as putting, chipping and bunker facilities.
Our resident Golf Professionals are available to pass on their expertise and teach all levels of golfers through a wide variety of tuition programs.

Golf Courses
La Cala America Marbella, Andalusia
La Cala America formerly the North Course is enhanced by spectacular views to the Sierra de Ojén and Mediterranean Sea. A buggy is a necessity as the golf course is extremely hilly and has some huge changes in elevation on and between golf holes, La Cala America have some occasional long distances between greens and tees. It’s wide, linked fairways and relatively few bunkers make La Cala America a slightly easier driving course, requiring a lot of carry across steep brush-covering side slopes, while the small raised greens demands precise club selection.You will find water hazards on the 9th and 16th.Holes 6, 9 and 18, par-5ths are particularly more challenging and the par-3 16th is a real treat to play. An emblem of the architectural brilliance of the designer Cabell B. Robinson, he takes pride in the complexity of the La Cala America golf course and values it as one of its personal favorite works. La Cala Asia Marbella, Andalusia
La Cala Resort is 5925 metres in length, par 72. Formerly the South Course, the spectacular Campo Asia has plenty of challenging holes, guaranteeing a testing round of golf. The oldest of the resorts three golf courses and the one most respected by the professionals, it is narrow and short, with four par 5 holes demanding skill and strategy. Look out for the 10th with its classic design, and the 5th where the aim of your drive is especially critical. The 18th requires full concentration. Remember not to over-club off the tee or this lengthy par 5 could spoil your scorecard. La Cala Resort is one of the largest and most exclusive golf resorts in southern Europe with three 18 hole golf courses and a high standard Par 3 six hole golf course. The natural features of the La Cala terrain have been used to challenging effect by the renowned golf course architect, Cabell B. Robinson. The three golf courses are carefully maintained to ensure they are playable all year round. The North Course (now renamed Campo America) is perhaps more difficult than the shorter South (Campo Asia) but both demand great accuracy from the tee and careful club selection. La Cala Europa Marbella, Andalusia
La Cala Europa course is 6014 metres in length, par 71. A dramatic golf course but easier for the average golfer, with generous fairways, flatter terrain and slightly larger greens than Campo America and Asia. Notable for one main bridge and four smaller bridges across the River Ojén, which features in eight holes, cutting across three fairways. There are four tunnels for golf carts. Water hazards guard the 3rd and 14th greens. The 14th is at the maximum limit of what is allowed for a par 3 at 233 metres. The par 5 11th is the longest hole at 524 metres.
