Las Encinas sits within an extensive oak forest in Boadilla del Monte, a short drive from Madrid, as the golf arm of a long-established private sports club founded in 1971. Designed by Francisco Moreno and homologated in 1984, the course was one of the first pitch-and-putt layouts in Spain to earn that status, and it has kept its reputation ever since.
Nine holes, all par 3s, wind between the club's namesake oaks, and the short yardage is deceptive: small, well-defended greens and tight bunkering make this one of the most demanding par-3 courses in the country. It rewards a precise short game far more than power, and even experienced players find their approach play tested at every hole.
Visitors are welcome Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, with advance booking essential and a valid handicap certificate required. A driving range, putting green and golf academy support the course, making it a sharp, technical addition to a Madrid golf break, best booked well ahead of a weekday round.
