Lots of places to loose you ball, as fairways tend to be lined by hazards as opposed to other fairways

Enjoyed La Cala Europa - in good condition and some excellent and interesting holes. Definitely need a buggy with good brakes as the course is very long and hilly!. Got a twilight deal which was also great value. Clubhouse and terrace are also excellent and the staff were very friendly and efficient.

Great course. Had played this before and some stunning holes. It's good value. Short on refreshment stalls but let us know to take beers at starters office. Good experience.

I did not agree with published reviews of this course which stated that the Europa was the easiest of the 3 La Cala courses. Europa felt like it was built wherever they could fit it in and hence all the fairways were somewhat on the side of a hill, so even a good shot could end up rolling off sideways into hazards, so unfairly punishing a good drive. Unless you could place your tee shot fairly precisely it was something of a lottery. Perhaps the older courses would be on more suitable ground - the America course looked better from what we could see of it.
The clubhouse was very busy and somewhat impersonal. I enjoyed some of the other course we visited which felt more like a quieter private golf club.

Nice golf with a lot of uphill and downhill shots, many blind shots. the caddy master was not friendly and not very helpful but still a good experience altogether.

Having played la cala America before heading to the Europe course I found it a little disappointing. the course itself was interesting and had some interesting and challenging holes, however the condition of the course compared to America was like chalk and cheese. Baked out fairways, bunkers with hard sandless bottoms and the greens were 2 feet slower than the America course. It is obvious the la cala club doesn't spend as much time and effort maintaining the Europe course as they do America which is confusing as it could be an excellent course.

An excellent course with some challenging holes especially the 4th hole a par 4 with two challenging and accurate shots required to hit the green. The friendliness of the team at La Cala and the facilities were first class. Would definitely return to play again.

Europa supposedly the easier of the three courses was tough, excellent course though, service was slow in the restaurant but didn't spoil the overall experience.

Very good golfcourse with exiting holes....some driving between holes......not every bunker in perfect conditon.....but overall a very nice course to play.
Not good that you have to drive your car 1 k to get to drivingrance.....so no warming up.
