Granada Golf course is a magnificent golf course and was the first to be built near the city of Granada. We owe its existence to the enthusiasm of the first group of developers, led by D. Jose Espada Sánchez and D. Manuel Moreno Facar, whose project was implemented by the designers: D. Ramon Espinosa and D. Emilio Mena. Situated in the region of Las Gabias, just 8 km from Granada. They chose to build a hill, where the fairways are adapted to its natural surroundings. In general, it is a technical and demanding golf course but lets you enjoy the game in different categories of handicap. There are very difficult holes such as 5, in which to stand on the tee, we inevitably feel some nervousness. Others, however, allow recovery shots with relative ease, as are the holes 6 and 9. There are water hazards such as the lakes of holes 5, 16, and 17 and both are water reservoirs for irrigation.
