This will be a world class golf resort when all facilities are complete. For now the course lacks a clubhouse, which detracts a little from the experience. Signposting of the entrance to the complex should also be more prominent.
The course itself is complete and in excellent condition. The range of tee boxes allow players of all abilities to enjoy the experience, but the course is best suited to low handicap golfers.
Access to bunkers and waste areas could me made safer. One ball golf should not be permitted on a course like this
Overall a great course that we will return to. Staff are friendly, efficient and courteous.

Stunning course which plays so well when still in its infancy. Good covering of grass on the fairways and greens are true and reasonably paced.Tough when the wind blows.

Move over Monte Rei / West Cliffs - Portugal has a new #1. Fabulous track (open since April) with each hole more or less its own theatre that greets you as you pull up to the tee box. Staff and experience first rate. Course puts me in mind of Pinehurst!

Er hat ein einzigartiges anzusehendes Layout an jedem Loch, der Blick zur Fahne macht Mega Spaß. Durch die Dogleg‘s und die WasteAreas ein wahnsinnig interessanter und spannender Platz.
Wir kommen wieder ! -**- It has a unique layout on every hole, the view to the flag is mega fun. The doglegs and waste areas make it an incredibly interesting and exciting course.

The Dunas course is very special. I have played a couple of David McLay Kidd courses before (Bandon Dunes, the Castle course at St Andrews and Machrihanish Dunes), and am a fan of his work. The design and architecture is sublime. The welcome at the Club was excellent as were the practice facilities. The only reason I have scored the experience 9, rather than 10, was the not so great condition of many of the fairways - which is understandable as the grass is very new.

There is no doubt in my mind that Dunas Terras Da Comporta will become one of the great European Golf Courses. It is an unbelievably well designed golf course. It's an incredible challenge but at the same time very playable. Something that modern courses sometimes get so wrong. Greens were stunning. We had the privilege of playing the course the day before the Grand Opening. From the moment you are greeted in the Car Park by very friendly welcoming staff to the end of your round you are in for a treat. Do remember this is a new golf course so some of the grass still needs time to bed down particularly on the front nine, but I could play this golf course every week.

Fantastic course and customer service. Course was in way better shape than we expected from such a young course, especially the back 9. Really fun! Nunu and the crew took super great care of us the whole way around with multiple beverage runs as it was very hot.

I played here in June and it was perfect. I would not have believed it could get so bad so quickly. On the front nine the fairways are like a farmers field and the greens very slow. The back nine is better. The sand in the greenside bunkers is extremely heavy and makes them almost impossible to get out of. At the moment £150 a round is about £100 too much.
