La Serena professional 18-hole, par-72 golf course is over 6,100 metres long and was constructed in accordance with rules and regulations of the European and United States Golf Association (EGA & USGA). It starts and ends in an area offering all facilities for practicing this favoured past time. You will find there the club house, pro shop and driving range. In addition, a golf school provides the opportunity to learn with experienced instructors. La Serena Golf course is located right next to the Mar Menor. It encircles the 500 year old ''Torre del Rame'' which was originally built to keep watch for pirates who took refuge in the tranquil waters of the Mar Menor. Mainly flat, the golf course’s main difficulties are the prevailing Levante wind and the many water hazards that come into play in 16 of the 18 holes. The golf course, which is not overly long, has a traditional structure. (...)

Buggies are recommended for this hilly golf course. (...)
La Marquesa Golf and Country Club is located in a flat valley in between the mountains and sheltered by its own unique microclimate. La Marquesa Golf was founded in 1989 and was first known as “Club de Golf Quesada”. In 1994 the golf club changed its name and embarked on a building program that will see a total of 15,000 homes built around the golf course. The clubhouse is beautifully appointed and even includes a swimming pool which is a great place to cool off after yet another round of golf in the sunshine! The golf club has a driving range, putting green and a practice green. The golf course is highly regarded and hosts several regional and national competitions for amateurs and club professionals.
