Disappointed to find the greens had been hollow tined and the fairways had been scarified and sanded. Although we love the course, we would have played elsewhere had we been advised when making our booking.

The course was beautifully presented and manicured. Something about the establishment didn’t feel quite right, somewhat rudimentary, no clubhouse. The pro shop looks like a large shed, but shouldn’t detract from a very enjoyable course to play, ( unless you get stuck behind a very slow mixed football , as I was)

Course was in very good condition.
All the staff we met in the proshop and the bar/catering were very welcoming.
Pace of play was 4:15 for a four-ball - we were very happy with this.

Almost 6 hours to complete round with Marshall only arriving to hurry things up when we were on 16th hole. Buggies only allowed on path which was a waste of money and slowed the round.

Lo Romero is an interesting and fair course. Moreover, always in top condition! The island green at the end is certainly a highlight. My favorite course for a long time.
But the clubhouse is still very modest and actually unworthy of the course. However, the friendliness of the staff consoles over this shortcoming.
The price increase since Corona is clearly noticeable and for my taste now at the limit!

What a course and to save stroke index 1 to the 18th is pure evil. Greens were exceptional and the fairways out of this world. The hospitality was great and the pro shop guys were so helpful.

Played Lo Romero golf course in May and what a pleasant surprise. One of the best golf courses around Costa Blanca near Alicante. Looks fantastic, well kept, clean, good fairways and nice rolling greens. Well worth the visit for a golfing day.
