La Monacilla Golf Course is a wonderful new addition to the golf courses in Costa de la Luz. This is a very flat, easy to walk par 72 golf course designed by Jose Maria Olazabal. La Monacilla has been carved out of a pine forest and offers players a very tranquil and picturesque setting. The golf course has large greens, wide fairways and there are spectacular lakes around the 2nd and 7th with fantastic views. La Monacilla golf course is situated 5 km away from Huelva city very close to Bellavista Golf Course, and within 25 minutes drive of all of our Costa de la Luz hotels. The magnificent clubhouse rounds off a fantastic golf experience.

Interesting course but in poor condition. Lots of dry sandy fairway areas

Disappointing golf course. Looking tired and rather neglected. Much residential building going on around the course, which did not really affect the golf apart from some noise. Hopefully once this is completed the surroundings will have some care and attention.

We always enjoy La Monacilla. The course could always be in slightly better condition but the layout is excellent and the people very friendly
