Navarino International Olympic Academy

Navarino International Olympic Academy Golf Course was designed by José María Olazábal and launched in partnership with the International Olympic Academy and the Hellenic Olympic Committee, a nod to golf's return to the Olympic Games. First played at the Messinia Pro-Am in November 2021, it officially opened in spring 2022, the world's first course to carry the International Olympic Academy name.

The par-72 course measures around 6,366 metres, the longer and more exposed of the two courses at Navarino Hills, with tighter margins off the tee than its sister, The Hills Course. The front nine plays across gently undulating terrain through olive groves, while the back nine runs along the edge of an inland cliff, more than half its holes overlooking the Bay of Navarino and the Ionian Sea. It's a course built for precision: aggressive play off-line is punished quickly, but the views from the ridge holes are among the best at Costa Navarino.
