Dye Fore Golf Course was designed by Pete Dye, opening on 20 April 2003 with 18 holes across the Chavón and Marina nines, perched up to 500 feet above the Chavón River. A third nine, Lagos, was added in 2011, bringing the course to its current 27 holes across roughly 7,740 yards.
The Chavón nine is the course's calling card: seven holes run along cliffs dropping up to 300 feet to the river below, and its two par-3s, the 12th and 15th, are among the most spectacular in the Caribbean, each demanding a full carry over a ravine to a green cut into the cliff edge. The Marina nine trades cliff drama for sweeping views over the Caribbean Sea, the resort marina and the artists' village of Altos de Chavón, while Lagos, the newest of the three, is the most forgiving, with water heavily in play across its holes.
Facilities include a driving range, resident golf professionals and a putting green. Book your round at one of Pete Dye's most ambitious Caribbean designs, a genuine rival to Casa de Campo's own Teeth of the Dog.
