Vale do Lobo was a nice golf experience. I do have some negative comments about the service at Spikes lounge. We had the worst experience getting after golf refreshments and dinner. The service was terrible and very unhospitable. Very non-typical of any establishment I've seen. I'd give it a 1.

The staff were very helpful. They charged us to the Royal course as two holes were closed on the Ocean. The course was wet but more than playable and the greens were fine and running true. We didn’t even get wet.
A lovely course and we will be back to play it again when it’s playing to its full potential.

The Buggy need more service before they are rented out. Heavy stearing conditions, The Tyres needs more air. The Trolleys/ electric trolleys has to be checked propely before they are rented out. SOme make a lot og noice when they are running. The golfcourse was very good.

We've been golfing in the Algarve for many years and the Vale do Lobo courses are one of our favourite. Again they didn't disappoint. From arrival to leaving the experience is second to none. Superb clubhouse and facilities, excellent golf courses with stunning views to take in on most of the holes. The staff, in the most part, were great. A couple of staff in the bar area, through their attitude, gave the impression they didn't want to be there! Didn't spoil the experience though.

Good course layout in decent condition - recent rains have made areas rather muddy, and there’s a bunch of cart path construction around holes #2 and #3. Pace of play was not great (4:30), but also not horrible.

Es war sehr laut auf dem Platz. Sehr viele green keeper mit lauten Geräten und lauten Fahrzeugen.
Leider waren die meisten Abschläge übersät mit benutzten Tees. Bei den Grüns wurden leider selten die pitchingeinschläge repariert.
Eine Station zur Säuberung der Schläger haben wir nicht gefunden (aber auch nicht danach gefragt)
Der ocean Kurs, besonders die 2. Löcher sind sehr schön angelegt.
Das Greenfee in dieser Höhe ist meines Erachtens nicht gerechtfertigt für den Platz. -**- Unfortunately there is no real driving range. You may play in. Until iron 9.
It was very loud on the course. Lots of green keepers with noisy equipment and loud vehicles.
Unfortunately, most of the tees were littered with used tees. The pitching on the greens was rarely repaired.
We didn't find a station to clean the clubs (but didn't ask for one either)
The ocean course, especially the 2nd holes, is beautifully laid out.
In my opinion, the green fee at this level is not justified for the course

We played the Ocean course the day after its sister course The Royal and the comparison could not be more different. Some of the fairways were patchy and the tee boxes were not in the best condition. Also all of the greens were spiked which meant even though they were very fast they were not totally true. This was the 4 th time I had played this course and this was the poorest condition that I have seen it in.
